Anything worthwhile...takes a while - TMR #22
Society tells you that you need to move fast.
Your industry tells you that you need to move faster.
But as someone who has a great deal of pride in my company, my family, and just my life’s situation in general, I can tell you that good things take time.
Being physically fit, takes time.
Playing an instrument, takes time.
Building a solid portfolio of solid companies, takes time.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried to speed up the process only to fall back at square one because I didn’t utilize the time factor.
There’s definitely an argument to be said about moving quickly, but there is a difference between jumping on some FOMO when you’re prepared versus when you’re unprepared.
While you’re skipping along through life and business, take the time to build the things that require time to make great.
Fitness, brand, content, friendships, family, team, clients, skills.
The list goes on.
Some things you simply cannot obtain without a solid time investment.
Focus on those things right now, and every day.
Work will take care of itself.
Good things take time.
Invest it.
What are YOU investing your time in?
